The Consortium of Pacific Herbaria (CPH) supports the enhancement of research cyberinfrastructure within Hawai'i
and the Pacific basin for implementing shared specimen data hosting of
plant specimens.
2010 Phase 2 - The CPH has evolved to include new partners and has been recently funded by the National Science Foundation.
More than 600,000 regional specimen records of collaborating herbaria will be databased and imaged then integrated into the regional consortium.

Phase 1 - Specimen records of the University
of Hawai'i at Manoa Joseph F. Rock Herbarium, Harold
L. Lyon Arboretum, and the University
of Guam are available online through PIRCH the Pacific Islands Regional Consortium of Herbaria. The initial estimated summary of base line data is 60,000
specimen records.
